project KicK-OFF

BluEcho was launched with a two-day kickoff at the University of Trieste, including a hybrid meeting and a boat trip organized by the Grignano Barcola Sailing Society. The project, focused on assessing underwater noise pollution in various sea basins, aims to develop new methods for numerical modeling and large-scale acoustic mapping. Coordinated by the University of Trieste and involving international partners, BluEcho extends previous European work and seeks to enhance conservation measures and evaluate their economic feasibility. We are very pleased to have come together and discussed the initial steps of the project!
